Certain modules require additional licensing before they can be used. An example of this kind of module is PropertyManager which enables hotels to charge their clients for calls placed during their stay.
Sangoma Property Manager is a Property Management System designed specifically for FreePBX and PBXact phone systems.
It is designed for small-to-medium hotels, Bed and Breakfasts, and hostels, giving hotel staff the ability to check-in and check-out guests, along with simple billing and guest service capabilities.

The CallerID Management module is a unique way to modify the Caller ID that is outpulsed on the fly. By utilising a simple feature code you can change your Caller ID for one call or all calls.
Page Pro adds to the existing Paging module in FreePBX to include the ability to hook outbound routes to a page group, make a valet-style (airport-style) page and create recordings to be played to a page group before the pager can speak.
This module allows an individual or a group to be notified and optionally accept responsibility for a voicemail. Additionally, notifications can be sent out when someone claims responsibility for the voicemail.

Appointment Reminder module for FreePBX Distro is a unique way to automate appointment confirmations, cancellations and reschedules. By simply specifing numbers and names to be called PBXact will automatically call at specified times and allow recipients to confirm, cancel and reschedule appointments.
Park Pro adds the ability to add multiple parking lots within FreePBX, useful for companies running multiple locations off the same server, or companies that need multiple parking lots or have many internal departments.

The Conference Pro module is an add-on to the existing conference module found in FreePBX. This module allows end users to manage conference room settings from the user control panel. Admin users can also easily create conference room IVR’s and choose which conference rooms are a part of the conference room IVR.
PhoneApps are a suite of phone applications that integrate directly with FreePBX and our commercial End Point Manager. PhoneApps allow users to control functions and settings directly from the screen of their phone. The initial release of applications include Call Parking, Follow-Me Management and Do Not Disturb. We will be expanding to include additional functionality, features and supported devices in the near future. High Availability Disaster Recovery
FreePBX High Availability, or “FreePBX HA,” was created to fill a need for organisations that have a low tolerance for downtime in the event of system failures and outages. Traditional backup solutions for FreePBX include on-site or off-site backups and warm spares, both of which are adequate for many organisations. When a regular customer calls in, are you able to greet them by their name instead of your usual greeting?
CID Superfecta within Sangoma phone systems enables the phone system to lookup calls from your databases and phonebooks. It also has the ability to look up the information provided by the SIP trunk or using UKPhoneInfo which can identify the area that the client is calling from.
Get information about every single call that comes through your phone system
- What time the call came in
- What number was dialled
- Who the caller was
- The duration of the call
- What app answered the call (e.g. IVR, Ring Group, Voicemail, Background Music)
Do you regularly have conference calls? The conference call feature allows users to call in with a conference id and a conference pin. If you are doing a training call, you can control the call and prohibit the guests from speaking using the Mic Mute feature.
Direct Dial Calling
Extensions can be assigned direct external telephone numbers so external callers can call them directly without going through auto attendants, switchboards (receptionists), or other call handlers.
Fax to Email
Still using fax? If you only receive fax now instead of sending them, then Fax to Email will be a really useful feature.
If you still have customers that send their orders over by Fax, then having them sent straight to your email inbox will help improve order processing time. This will help reduce your overheads on printer consumables and hardware maintenance.
If you are working in an environment where users are always moving around the office, then you may find the HotDesking feature really useful.
HotDesking is where a user is assigned their own individual extension number and PIN. This enables users to switch between desks by logging in and out of their phone. This helps aid with accountability and privacy for an individual extension.
Extension customisations will also follow the user as they login and logout of their extensions.
Intercom can be used to broadcast live messages over the loudspeaker of each handset. When the PBX has been configured to work with devices such as Snom or Algo; Voice paging can be a really handy feature without the need for purchasing additional Public Announcement hardware.
Why pay for multiple systems when a single system can provide you with all of the functionality combined.
Music on Hold
Play custom music on hold to your callers whilst they are being transferred or are waiting to be answered.
Customers get fed up with ring ring, it makes the call seem like it is dragging. You are also wasting a massive advertising opportunity. You could use that time to play advertising to your customers about your products and services. What customer knows everything that you do? Do they know what special offers are currently available?
Do you receive a large volume of calls at any one time?
Then placing callers into a queue will ensure that calls are answered on a first come first served basis. Agents can login and logout of queues depending on specific needs and availability.
You can also use this time to advertise to your callers by playing them hold music with advertising materials on. This can be seen as a free advertising method which could potentially boost sales.
Call multiple handsets simultaneously or by using another ring method such as round robin or circular.
This feature also has the capability to ring external telephone numbers as well as internal telephone extensions.
If you currently utilise multiple sites, the Sangoma can bridge the gap using IAX trunking. IAX trunks enable multiple systems to be linked together and enables site to site extension dialling.
Traditionally, callers would have had to call the mainline number and then be transferred to the appropriate destination. This consumes a valuable external line, increases your overheads; as you are paying for your site to site calls; and restricts the number of inbound calls to both sites as you would have used a line to call out and a line to call in.
Time conditions are a really useful feature for a business, they can automate ring plans and automatically divert calls to different destinations if specific dates and times are met.
Time Conditions can be configured for use with a recurring time plan (e.g. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm) or with a calendar for use on one off events such as Bank and National Holidays, or for Staff Training.

Voicemail Accounts can be setup for individual extensions or as a shared mailbox. Voicemails can then be retrieved using the User Control Panel, through the extension or via Email using the Voicemail to Email function.
Voicemail blasting is another handy feature, you can customise the announcement played to the caller and then distribute the voicemail message to multiple recipients.
